Owners and operators of the Adelaide Mushroom Facility, Costa Group (ASX: CGC) is Australia's largest horticultural company and a major supplier of produce to food retailers across the nation. In 2019, our Construction Team were awarded works as part of a $65 million dollar upgrade to the facility.

The upgrade has resulted in Mushroom production boosting from 120 tonnes to 240 tonnes per week. The facility has the lowest operating costs of any Costa Group Mushroom farm in Australia, and can supply produce to all states and territories within two days of shipment.

Costa has worked in partnership with the South Australian government to bring the expansion project to fruition, including the sound investment of a solar power farm used to guarantee a steady, cost-effective electricity supply to the facility.
